If you do not have a permanent residence card, your passport is required together with your (1) residence card.

Please upload the page with your photo. Other pages and visas are not accepted.

A credit card or financial institution account in the same name as the subscriber can be used as a payment method.

VISA, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club credit cards are accepted.
The date when the credit card payment will be processed is based on the terms of the credit card company you use.

  • ※ Your payment will be recorded as "SoftBank M" (or similar) on your credit card statement.
  • ※ Debit cards with the VISA/Master/JCB mark can also be used (“J-Debit” cannot be used). If you request payment by debit card, the amount may be debited from your designated account before the billing information is disclosed. The debit will be processed around the 8th to 11th of each month.
  • ※ Only credit cards with a card holder name that matches the subscriber are accepted.

Payment by Direct Debit

The fee will be debited from your account at a financial institution in Japan such as Japan Post Bank, Bank of Mitsubishi UFJ, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, or Mizuho Bank.

  • ※ Depending on your financial institution, SMBC Finance Service Co., Ltd. (formerly Cedyna Financial Corporation) will process the bill.
  • ※ The time of debit varies depending on the financial institution. Therefore, even if you make a deposit to your debit account on the day that a payment is due, the amount may not be debited. Please make sure your account has enough balance by the previous day (or the business day of the financial institution before that if the previous day is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday) to make the payment.

    In-Store Application

    LINEMO is only available exclusively online. You cannot apply at Softbank, Y-Mobile, or other stores, or at electronics retailers.

    In-Store and Telephone Support

    Inquiries and other questions are accepted via chat or LINE. SoftBank and Y-Mobile stores and customer service hotlines are not available.

  • Discounts such as family discount and set discount with Home Internet

    If you are subscribing to SoftBank Hikari and you (including your family members) no longer have anyone to whom the Ouchi-wari Hikari Set is applicable, the following may be automatically cancelled.
